No it's not a cinnamon roll or bun. It's a Franzbrötchen. It comes in all shapes and sizes, but only the real ones know where to get the best.
Found almost exclusively in the north of Germany, this pastry is something between puff pastry and not-quite-puff-pastry, filled with cinnamon and caramelized sugar that gets gloriously sticky at the edges. Impossible to describe properly. You just have to taste it.
